Queste condizioni regolano l'uso dell'app Pelo. Installandola e usandola le accetti. Sono scritte in italiano piano: se qualcosa non ti torna, scrivimi prima di comprare.

Pelo serve a organizzare le informazioni sulla salute dei tuoi animali: appuntamenti, terapie, vaccini, peso, documenti, spese.
Non è un dispositivo medico e non sostituisce il veterinario. Non fornisce diagnosi, non suggerisce cure e non stabilisce dosaggi: i promemoria ripetono quello che hai scritto tu, non lo verificano. Per qualunque decisione sulla salute del tuo animale, rivolgiti a un veterinario.
Pelo è un'app local-first: quello che scrivi resta nell'archivio dell'app sul tuo dispositivo. Non esiste un server dove i tuoi dati vengono copiati, quindi non esiste una copia di riserva che io possa recuperare.
Questo significa che il backup è una tua responsabilità: se perdi il
telefono, lo formatti o disinstalli l'app senza aver esportato nulla, i
dati non sono recuperabili da nessuno. Usa
Impostazioni → Dati → Esporta ogni tanto, e tieni il file dove
lo ritrovi.
Come vengono trattati i dati è spiegato nell'informativa sulla privacy.
Pelo è gratuita fino a due animali e senza pubblicità. Sono disponibili due sblocchi facoltativi a pagamento unico:
Non ci sono abbonamenti: si paga una volta e resta sbloccato. Il prezzo aggiornato è quello mostrato da Google Play al momento dell'acquisto.
Gli acquisti sono gestiti interamente da Google Play, che è il venditore verso di te e incassa il pagamento: io non ricevo né tratto i tuoi dati di pagamento e vedo soltanto l'esito dell'acquisto sul tuo dispositivo, per abilitare la funzione.
Le richieste di rimborso seguono quindi le regole di Google Play e vanno fatte a Google. I diritti che la legge italiana ti riconosce come consumatore restano fermi: queste condizioni non li limitano.
Gli sblocchi sono legati al tuo account Google, non al telefono: reinstallando l'app o cambiando dispositivo puoi ripristinarli dallo stesso account. Attenzione: si ripristinano gli sblocchi, non i dati dei tuoi animali, che stanno solo sul dispositivo.
Ti viene concesso un diritto d'uso personale e non esclusivo. Non puoi rivendere l'app, decompilarla o modificarla per ridistribuirla. Il codice e il marchio restano di chi li ha fatti.
Alcune funzioni facoltative si appoggiano a servizi pubblici gestiti da altri: le mappe e la ricerca dei veterinari (OpenStreetMap, Overpass) e la lettura dei codici a barre (Open Food Facts). Quei servizi hanno regole e disponibilità proprie: possono essere lenti, incompleti o non raggiungibili, e le informazioni che restituiscono non sono verificate da me. Il resto dell'app funziona lo stesso, offline.
L'app è fornita «così com'è». Faccio quello che posso perché funzioni, ma non posso garantire che sia priva di errori né che i promemoria arrivino sempre e comunque: dipendono anche dal sistema operativo e dalle impostazioni di risparmio energetico del tuo telefono. Non affidarti solo a Pelo per una terapia importante.
Nei limiti consentiti dalla legge, non rispondo di danni indiretti o della perdita di dati che non ho causato io. Le garanzie che la legge riconosce ai consumatori non sono escluse né ridotte.
Queste condizioni possono essere aggiornate: la versione valida è quella pubblicata su questa pagina, con la data in alto. Se un aggiornamento tocca qualcosa di sostanziale, lo scriverò qui in modo evidente. L'app può cambiare nel tempo, e funzioni non essenziali possono essere modificate o rimosse; gli sblocchi già acquistati restano validi.
Si applica la legge italiana. Se sei un consumatore, resta competente il giudice del luogo in cui risiedi o hai il domicilio.

These terms govern the use of the Pelo app. By installing and using it you accept them.

Pelo helps you organise information about your pets' health: appointments, treatments, vaccines, weight, documents, expenses.
It is not a medical device and does not replace your vet. It provides no diagnosis, suggests no treatment and sets no dosage: reminders repeat what you entered, they do not check it. For any decision about your pet's health, consult a veterinarian.
Pelo is local-first: what you write stays in the app's storage on your device. There is no server your data is copied to, which means there is no backup I can restore for you.
Backups are therefore your responsibility: if you lose your phone, reset
it, or uninstall the app without exporting anything, the data cannot be
recovered by anyone. Use Settings → Data → Export from time to
time and keep the file somewhere you will find it.
How data is handled is explained in the privacy policy.
Pelo is free for up to two pets and contains no advertising. Two optional one-off unlocks are available:
There are no subscriptions: you pay once and it stays unlocked. The current price is the one shown by Google Play at the time of purchase.
Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play, which is the seller to you and collects the payment: I neither receive nor process your payment data, and only see the purchase outcome on your device in order to enable the feature.
Refund requests therefore follow Google Play's rules and must be addressed to Google. Any rights granted to you as a consumer by applicable law remain unaffected: these terms do not limit them.
Unlocks are tied to your Google account, not to the handset: reinstalling the app or changing device lets you restore them from the same account. Note that this restores the unlocks, not your pets' data, which lives only on the device.
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive right of use. You may not resell the app, decompile it, or modify it for redistribution. The code and the brand remain with their author.
Some optional features rely on public services run by others: maps and vet search (OpenStreetMap, Overpass) and barcode lookup (Open Food Facts). Those services have their own rules and availability: they may be slow, incomplete or unreachable, and the information they return is not verified by me. The rest of the app works regardless, offline.
The app is provided "as is". I do what I can to keep it working, but I cannot guarantee it is free of defects, nor that reminders will always fire: they also depend on your operating system and battery-saving settings. Do not rely on Pelo alone for an important treatment.
To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect damages or for loss of data I did not cause. Statutory consumer guarantees are neither excluded nor reduced.
These terms may be updated: the version in force is the one published on this page, with the date at the top. If an update touches something substantial, I will say so here clearly. The app may change over time, and non-essential features may be modified or removed; unlocks already purchased remain valid.
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, the court of your place of residence or domicile remains competent.
